Important Notes

  • Activities inside Taman Negara (jungle trekking, rapid shooting, Orang Asli Village, waterfalls) are join-in basis with other participants, but land transfers from Kuala Lumpur are private.
  • The Canopy Walkway is closed for maintenance until further notice.
  • This tour is not suitable for:
    – Pregnant women
    – Guests with mobility issues or wheelchair users
    – Very young children (below 3 years old)
  • Guests are advised to have a heavy breakfast before departure as lunch will be served only after the jungle trek.
  • Bring: comfortable trekking shoes, insect repellent, change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, and waterproof bag for electronics.

Description

  • Your day begins with a 6:30 AM hotel pick-up in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. As you travel towards the park, enjoy the lush scenery of the Titiwangsa Mountains, arriving at Kuala Tahan (Taman Negara’s gateway) around 9:30 AM.
  • After registration, join your local nature guide for a jungle trek through towering trees and dense undergrowth. Learn about the fascinating flora and fauna of one of the world’s oldest tropical rainforests. (Note: The Canopy Walkway is currently closed for maintenance.)
  • Next, board a traditional longboat for an exciting rapid shooting ride along the Tembeling River — an exhilarating experience that leaves you refreshed and energized.
  • The adventure continues with a visit to a nearby Orang Asli (indigenous) village. Meet members of the Batek tribe, watch a fire-making demonstration, and try your hand at their traditional blowpipe hunting technique. This cultural stop offers valuable insight into Malaysia’s native heritage.
  • Afterward, enjoy a local riverside lunch before setting off by boat to the breathtaking Lata Berkoh Waterfalls. Here, you can relax, take photos, or dip your feet in the cool waters while soaking up the unspoiled natural surroundings.
  • At the end of the afternoon, rejoin your private vehicle for the return journey to Kuala Lumpur, arriving back at your hotel in the evening.
